About Unite Collective

Unite Collective is the creative & music ministry of Unite Church in Pasadena, CA. Formally lead by worship pastor, Ashley Beckford, they exist to unite people into a genuine, hope-filled relationship with God and genuine community with others though creativity, music and art. Unite Collective values diversity and strives to create music and art for multi-cultural and multi-generational environments. The band and its songwriting community is a collection of musically-gifted artists, worship leaders, musicians and creatives from Unite and its extended family. 

Light of the World was released in February of 2014. With it's catchy melody and Nashville pop/rock influence, this song is a perfect addition to any Sunday set list. Ashley's vision of "scripture-inspired song" has been achieved once again. Light of the World was inspired by John 8:12 when Jesus says, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Heart After You is Ashley’s debut solo worship album. The heart of this project is to put scripture into song. Each song has a specific passage of scripture that inspired the lyrics and music. Ashley explains her vision for the album as this: “My hope for the album is that the Word of God would sink into people’s hearts in a new and fresh way. My prayer is that people would strive to have a heart after God. And that starts by listening and taking in his Word.” Don’t miss out on this powerful worship album.
